Quarry Happenings

  ICE FROM SKUNK LAKE supplied most sandstone homes and businesses with ice for the warm season.  Jepsen's Livery stable (located on present site of St. Lukes Catholic Church).  Jepsen delivered ice for iceboxes around town during the warm months. 

Hard to believe that Christmas is already here.  I hope everyone has a good Christmas with family and loved ones.  I'm gonna enjoy my Christmas by sitting around the table with my family.  Maybe later I'll watch a Christmas movie.  Hope everyone has a good rest of the year.  Merry Christmas!
